Anteprima GP de Fourmies 2017

A chiudere il primo weekend di settembre aperto con la Brussels Cycling Classic sarà il GP de Fourmies – La Voix du Nord 2017, in programma domenica 3 sulle strade di Francia. La classica transalpina, classificata 1.HC nell’Uci Europe Tour, giunge all’edizione numero 85: ideata nel 1928, ha nel belga Jean-Luc Vandenbroucke il recordman di vittorie (tre) e nel tedesco Marcel Kittel il campione uscente. Diversi gli italiani capaci di aggiudicarsela nel corso degli anni; da Elio Gerussi negli anni ’50 fino a Max Sciandri, Andrea Tafi, Michele Bartoli, Luca Mazzanti, Gianluca Bortolami, Giovanni Visconti e Fabio Felline negli ultimi tre decenni.

 Sarà possibile seguire la diretta tramite il servizio streaming Eurosport Player a partire dalle ore 16. Il canale tv Eurosport manderà in onda una sintesi il giorno seguente.

 Siamo a Fourmies, comune situato nella regione Nord-Passo di Calais. Il tracciato rimane sostanzialmente immutato rispetto al recente passato: sono 205 i chilometri previsti, contraddistinti da un tratto in linea che condurrà i corridori verso nord, prima di ritornare indietro con il circuito Fourmies-Feron-Fourmies da ripetere cinque volte. Il percorso strizza l’occhio ai velocisti, ma non pregiudica le possibilità di vedere degli attacchi da finisseur, come quello che due anni fa è valso il successo a Fabio Felline.
