Anteprima Boucles de la Mayenne 2017

Il calendario internazionale del mese di giugno si aprirà con la Boucles de la Mayenne 2017, corsa 2.1 di scena nell’omonimo dipartimento francese dal 1 al 4. Riservata ai dilettanti fino al 2005, nello stesso anno fu aperta ai professionisti e integrata nel circuito UCI Europe Tour. Podi italiani: Stefano Broggia terzo nel 2005 e Andrea Pasqualon secondo nel 2015. Il campione uscente è il francese Bryan Coquard.

 Ci troviamo nella regione dei Paesi della Loira per questa cinque giorni aperta da un cronoprologo di 4.5 km nella città di Laval. I pur minimi distacchi nella prova contro il tempo possono già risultare decisivi, dal momento che le successive frazioni non presentano grossi ostacoli. Fa eccezione la penultima frazione, da Chantrigné a Hambers, con le scalate al Mont Rochard e al Montaigu (2 km a 7% di pendenza media) che possono apportare ulteriori modifiche alla classifica generale. Assente il campione uscente Bryan Coquard, con il dorsale numero uno si presenta il suo compagno di squadra Lilian Calmejane (Direct Energie), uno dei favoriti per la classifica finale. La presenza italiana è assicurata dalla Androni-Sidermec che schiera Marco Benfatto, Francesco Gavazzi, Andrea Palini, Alessio Taliani, Luca Pacioni e Andrea Vendrame.
